General
   Be sure to put your child's name on all belongings brought into the studio. lease do not send toys or jewelry into class with your child. Please, no gum in the classroom. Please send slip-on shoes to put on after class -- dance and gymnastic shoes should not be worn outside.

Attendance

    In order to take full advantage of the instruction offered, regular attendance is necessary. There are no refunds for missed lessons. During bad weather morning classes will be cancelled if the SHELBY COUNTY Schools are closed. For afternoon & evening classes please check the announcements on the website or call the studio after 2:30 to see if classes will be held. Cancelled lessons will be rescheduled.

Withdrawal

    In the event that a student withdraws from class, notice must be given in writing to the student's teacher or the director before the 5th of the month in order to receive a refund of May's tuition (if paid by cash or check) only if their is no outstanding balance. If withdrawal is after the 5th of the month, that month's tuition will already be paid for either from automatic withdrawal or from the May tuition payment made at registration.
 

Holidays

    We will be closed for the following holidays only:

Labor Day - September 6, 2010
Thanksgiving - November 24-28, 2010

Christmas Break - December 17, 2010-January 2, 2011

Spring Break - March 14-20, 2011

Observation

    No observers are allowed in the classroom during classes. We will have observation days in October and January.

Recital

    The annual recital will be held at the Germantown Performing Arts Centre Saturday, May 14, 2011. Studio rehearsals will be on May 6 & 7, and mandatory stage rehearsals on May 4, 11, 12, and/or 13. A nonrefundable recital fee is due in March ($50 for one child and $75 for two or more).

    Since costumes add excitement and a professional quality to our recital, all of our students perform in costume. Costume prices are approximately $45 each. Combination dance classes will have two costumes and other classes will have one per subject.  Costume payments will be divided into 2 non-refundable payments due in November and January.

Safety Rule

    Please be on time to pick up your child & please do not leave your child early as we cannot guarantee supervision since there are no breaks between classes. We do not allow students to wait outside, so please urge your child to wait for you inside. Please do not leave siblings without a parent/guardian in the lobby--the staff cannot be responsible or their safety.

Class Attire
    All students are required to wear the proper clothing to class.
